Life’s a Ball!
The celebration of New Year’s is the oldest of all holidays. But this is no excuse for the same old tired drinking parties year after year! For a change of pace and a step into the unique, we are planning the event of the year with a “Roaring 20's Martini and Jazz Celebration” in our Benson Ballroom.
Enjoy a decadent five-course dinner in Simon’s Restaurant, prepared by our Chef Patron Carl Rynecki. From there, meander to the Benson Ballroom for a feast for the eyes and palette, with hors d'oeuvres, specialty martinis, “bathtub” gin and an atmosphere of abandon and celebration. Music will be provided by Django's Cadillac whose style is described as “contemporary vintage intercontinental swing”, upbeat and amazingly enjoyable whether you’re just listening or out there cutting up a rug.
Our memorable ringing in of 2008 will kick off with seatings for dinner at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Martinis start flowing and music starts jumping at 10 p.m.
Celebrate New Years Eve 2008 in style before retiring to your room for overnight accommodations at the Hotel. Then, join us for breakfast the next morning to start the year off in style while recounting how enjoyable your New Year’s Eve celebration has been.
Packages are available with or without overnight accommodations. Or a quiet and romantic celebration, just join us for dinner and ring in the New Year in your own way.
